Toastmaster Contests

Toastmasters runs competitions each year in four different areas:

• Humourous Speech Contest
• International Speech Contest
• Speech Evaluation
• Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking)

Each club selects a member to represent the club. That person is typically chosen by the club running its own contest. The representative competes against the representatives from other clubs at the Area level, the District level, and then at the
District level at the Annual Convention.

To assist with organising competitions, we’ve produced a checklist and scripts for the Contest Chair.
