Club Members progress through a series of educational manuals, each with a selection of speaking projects. The first manual is the Competent Communicator (CC), also called the Basic Manual. The CC has ten speeches, which focus on technique, with the specific speech topics very flexible.

Once these speeches are complete, the member is recognised as a “Competent Communicator” and can move on to more specialised Advanced Manuals. In simple terms, the member selects any two manuals from the list below and completed the five project speeches in that manual to get an “Advanced Communicator” award.
